Does anyone have knowledge about a WHODAS version for children and used it?

What is not clear is whether these are one and the same version. None of them have been, to my knowledge, endorsed by WHO

That is correct, WHODAS-Child (or Child WHODAS) has not been endorsed by WHO. As far as I know, the group who developed WHODAS-Child offered the WHODAS-Child to WHO for further validation. A small group of people within the FDRG started to analyse and compare WHODAS-Child and WHODAS 2.0.

New information from the Functioning and Disability Reference Group (FDRG). The minutes of a meeting in Kuwait in April report the 'Development and validation of a functioning and disability assessment instrument for children and youth.' The plan is to develop 3 instruments for ages 0-2, 3-6, 7-12 in the next two years. Dr Matilde Leonardi will be the Principal investigator working with a multi-centre international network.
